Sony after this discontinued relationship with Ericsson looks like its lucky charm turning the fortunes in their favor. After a dream run for Sony at mobile world Congress announcing several of the Xperia devices, its time for the Sony devices as scheduled to be upgraded to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.
Its not too long that ICS update to Tablet S arrived in the US market last week along with the upgrade to Ericsson Xperia Arc S, Xperia Neo V and Xperia Ray. The good news is that Sony has also started sending Android 4.0 ICS update to Xperia Mini, Mini Pro, Live with Walkman slowly in batches in various countries and if you posses any of these smartphones then please check for the same at your end. These upgrade are made available via the PC Companion and the Bridge for MAC PC owner and they are available for download at Sony’s official site.
So overall Ericsson Xperia Arc S, Xperia Neo V, Xperia Ray, Tablet S, Sony Xperia Mini, Mini Pro, Live with Walkman devices are available for upgrade to the latest and the good looking Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade. If you own any of these devices mentioned here then you can upgrade your devices and remaining devices which are eligible for ICS upgrade will soon get ICS update as well.
