How to create Bootable USB to install Windows 7 from USB Flash drive

Install Windows 7/8 via Pen Drive/USB:


1) Download the Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool


2) Install the software on to your system.


3) You will primarily require a flash drive 4GB minimum in size and a  ISO file of the Windows 7 operating system..


4) After installing the software, Run the application.

Step 1. Here click on browse and make the software find the ISO image of the Windows installation setup. Now click next to continue.

Step 2. Here you have to select the media type either a USB or a DVD.

Step 3. Now in the third step you have to select the usb device you want to use and click on begin copying.

Step 4. This will format the USB drive and the bootable disk will be created for further use.

After the process is done you can quit the Tool/ Application and open the USB to see all the changes that have been made after the above steps have been covered. In case you don't see the  installation files on your USB, then probably you might have not followed the steps properly. Repeat the steps and the job will be done. Note : Don't forget to use a ISO Image of the Installation Disk.

Requirements: dot net 2 framework

How to download Windows 8 Beta

Well I still remember the first version of Windows 8 which got leaked way back in Sept ’10, which was 32 bit, build 7850. But there was nothing much for users to explore in it. In Sept ’11, Microsoft unveiled Windows 8 Developers preview which was available for download. It was made available for app developers to develop and test “metro style apps”.

On 29^th Feb. ’12, Microsoft released Windows 8 Beta version or Consumer Preview version for users to download and test. Microsoft claims that more than 100,000 changes have been made since they released developer’s version. It doesn’t have full features as Windows 8 is still under development. We will be covering the different features of Windows 8 in our upcoming articles. Till then if you want to download and install it in your machine or on a virtual machine, you can download Windows 8 beta from the below link.
